Hi. This is Sasha Costanza-Chock, working on the Access to Knowledge campaign. I will say I'm sorry for not contacting you first about it, however, I wish you would read through it before locking it up. Take a look... it's obviously closely related to what you're doing at FreeCulture, and I would imagine Free Culture folks will want to take part in it. Please get in touch w/me: schock AT riseup.net. peace.==

Hey Nelson. We're you the one who put Bryan (at UR) in touch with me? Thanks! Anyway, we're on the virge of launching a group here in Rochester. Let me know if you have any comments. --LukeStodola 20:21, 28 Mar 2005 (EST)
Taking care of comment spam
I was looking on WordPress and found a couple of captcha implementations. Unfortunately, they have accessibility problems for the blind. But I did find something interesting on wp-plugins.net, and SpamAssassin has Bayesian filtering. Stephen Compall 22:30, 15 Jun 2005 (EDT)

You like the Template:User, eh? I'm not sure whether it will really work on the open wiki -- people who don't already have all their contact info exposed to the world may be reluctant to do so. But maybe it can be the start of a template for the hypothetical private wiki, and/or a stripped-down version may find use on the public one. (Perhaps we could even use interwiki links to the private wiki.) -- Gavin 17:17, 7 Aug 2005 (EDT)
