Our website went down for almost a week when our server died and suffered hard drive corruption. It appears that no data was lost, but it took a long time to retrieve our data and transfer it to a new server. Rest assured that we are taking steps to prevent this from ever happening again. Current plans involve multiple backups on multiple webhosts, and a heavy dose of paranoia. Do not fear, FreeCulture.org still exists, and it is likely to continue to exist for the indefinite future.

UPDATE: Certain parts of our website, including our wiki and mailing lists, are still down. We are working to get them back up as quickly as possible.
