you have the right to (choose one)

Yourcollege Free Culture is a student group that's part of a new movement to end homogeneiety in culture. We support:

  • rational copyright law
  • open source software
  • a participatory culture of creativity

And we're getting things done. This spring/fall/semester/term/year we'll make our roadmap on advancing these goals in coordination with others across the nation.

Yes, we know "homogeneiety" isn't in the dictionary. That's the beauty of it all.

These fliers use most of the same text as the template (psd) (xcf) (gif) on the FC.o Web site. My purposes were a little different than those of the template, though, so I wanted to do something a little different, particularly in conciseness and visual style. These fliers are my first experience working in GIMP, so forgive me. I can post the xcf files if there's any interest; I'd prefer to host the xcf files as well as the jpgs/gifs/filetype-of-choice on the FC.o server, if possible. (I posted the images in jpg simply because I exported them in jpg to take to the printer. I'd have exported in pdf if I knew how, or ps if I thought the printer could open ps files. I figured I'd lose less quality in jpg than gif, and I wasn't sure I'd be able to open png.) If someone wanted to combine the xcf files into one with the different text on different layers, that'd be wonderful.

I'm also working on Spanish versions.
