Spam blacklist extension
According to the MediaWiki-l mailing list, a spam bot has been active on many MediaWiki sites since Monday. FreeCulture.org is obviously one of those that was hit by this. MediaWiki has a Spam Blacklist extension that could help to prevent the problems this wiki has experienced over the last few days. Please see the readme file for details.
